This is the first photobook by the photographer, fujico. This book ranges from cityscapes to abundant nature where fujico journeyed, comprising 172 photos taken in 11 countries and 34 cities.
The core of this work lies in a broad gaze at the subject, not limited to the framing of portrait and landscape photography. The unique distance between fujico and the subject depicts people’s lives as if capturing “the beauty of the moment when paints blend.” The photographer’s comments on each photo are included in the appendix, tracking the journey with the words.
写真家fujicoによる初の写真集。世界11ヶ国34都市、都市部から緑豊かな自然まで、世界各地を巡り収められた全172点の写真で構成されています。
本作の核となるのは、ポートレートや風景という枠に収まらない、被写体への大きな眼差しです。その作者特有の距離感は、まるで「絵の具が混ざり合う最中の美しさ」のように、人々のライフスタイルを豊かに描き出します。巻末には、作者自身による各写真へのコメントを収録。言葉とともに、その旅の軌跡を辿ることができます。

Born in Gifu, Japan. Live between Nagoya and Tokyo. Sometimes, Okinawa. Wandered Europe during university, staying in Spain for about a year. Worked in the translation industry, then graduated from university. Freelance photographer since 2021. Creating a photographic landscape.
岐阜県岐阜市生まれ。名古屋と都内、沖縄を中心に生活。大学時代に欧州を巡り、スペインに約1年間滞在後、翻訳業に携わり、卒業。2021年より、写真を使った空間表現を行う。
